Dr. Grossinger began his academic journey at Lehigh University, where he excelled academically and graduated magna cum laude in 1981. Following his passion for medicine, he pursued his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his studies in June 1985. During this time, he had the opportunity to intern at Philadelphia’s Metropolitan Hospital, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Driven by his dedication to furthering his medical expertise, Dr. Grossinger continued his training as a neurology specialist at The New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Here, he served as chief resident in the neurology department, honing his skills under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Throughout his career, Dr. Grossinger has been affiliated with several esteemed hospitals in the Philadelphia area. Notable institutions where he has worked include Taylor Hospital, Crozer Chester Medical Center, Riddle Hospital, Springfield Hospital, and Christiana Hospital, among others. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Grossinger has also gained recognition for his involvement in the world of sports. Affectionately known as “Bruce the Sports Doc,” he has shared his expertise and passion for sports medicine as a broadcaster. For many years, he has covered Philadelphia teams on ESPN Radio and VoiceAmerica, bringing his medical insights and analysis to a broad audience. As a lifelong fan, he holds season tickets for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia 76ers, showcasing his unwavering support for the local sports community.
